Tamro is responsible for approximately 55% of the pharmaceutical and healthcare product deliveries to Finnish pharmacies, hospitals, and retailers. The company manages and distributes a wide product range from medicines to healthcare products. At the same time, the volume of product data is growing and the laws and regulatory requirements concerning the pharmaceutical industry are tightening, increasing pressure for efficient and high-quality data management.

A digital product data form on Power Platform
In spring 2024, Tamro organised a tender for the design and implementation of a new digital product data form. Lanttu.io was selected as the partner to deliver the solution on Microsoft Power Platform and to maintain the system going forward. The result was a modern, bilingual digital form that integrates with Tamro’s systems and external APIs.

Rapid development, thorough testing, and a controlled rollout to suppliers
The project was executed in eight sprints, with the first application versions released early – enabling user feedback to be leveraged in real time. The rollout of the new digital product data form to suppliers began with a pilot phase and was carried out in a controlled manner across all suppliers.
